Pick up Greg van Eekhout’s California Bones Trilogy (that’s actually the title of the first book, but I don’t think the series has a name). I love that these books are so California even in a world where people eat each other for the magic in their bones.

I read all three in two days. So yeah, not much else happened.

I regret nothing.
